RECIPE: WELSH CAKE

INGREDIENTS
Dough:
Milk 100 cc
Lemon Juice 1 spoon
Plain 0000 Flour 350 g
Salt, a pinch
Sugar 30 g
Baking Powder 15 g
Butter 75 g
Vanilla Essence 1 spoon
Yolkss 2
Filling:Prunes 250 g
Cream 400 cc
Whites 2
Sugar 100 g

Procedure:
Heat the milk with the lemon juice until the milk gets sour.Sift the flour, the salt, the sugar and the baking powder. Place the dry ingedients in a multi-processor with the butter and mix. Add the sour milk and the yolks. Get all ingredients together to form a consistent dough. Place it in the fridge for one hour. Spread the dough and cover a round baking tray.

Place the prunes at the bottom. Integrate the cream, the whites and the sugar without whisking. Pour the mixture over the prunes. Cook in a moderate oven for about 45 min, until the dough gets brownish.
